Ross's Gull

What is going on in this world? This is the 3rd species of Artic Gull to find it's way to sunny and warm Southern California, first it was an Ivory Gull and then a Red-legged Kittiwake. This Ross's Gull is the first State Record, and was found by the father of California birding, Guy McCaskie on 11/17/06 at the Red Hill Marina, at the south end of the Salton Sea, Imperial County.
