IBM and/or Hitachi Microdrives

Digital Storage- These are mini hard-drives, that are part of the family of Compact Flash type I/II cards. They range from 340 mega-bytes to 8 Gigs. With my 4 Gig drive, and my 10.2 megapixel Nikon D200 set to "Jpeg Large Fine", I can get 670 images on that card. On the longer field trips, when the cards are completely loaded up, I then can easily download all of the cards onto my laptop.
